Deffenbaugh & Associates had the privilege of providing architectural consulting services to the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde. Work began from a conceptual sketch by Tribal member and Marine Veteran Steve Bobb and a committee of Tribal members. Deffenbaugh & Associates provided design sketches and a scale model of design elements that we could manipulate with the committee during meetings to evaluate location, perspective, and appropriateness of different elements proposed for the memorial. The memorial is a culmination of both traditional and modern thematic elements resulting in a moving tribute to Veterans everywhere.
